Beth Gillies CVT, Hospital Manager |
|
Beth has worked as a technician at PRAH since September 1997. She previously worked for Dr. Mikus and subsequently for Dr. Manderino when she was in high school. She worked at PRAH for one summer as part of a co-op program and received college credits for doing so. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree from Cook College, Rutgers University in May 1997. While attending college, Beth worked at another animal clinic for 3 years as a technician/office manager. Beth has also worked at the Bergen County Zoological Park as a zookeeper. Beth has attended continuing education seminars in nutrition, dentistry, and flea and tick-control. In addition to working at PRAH, Beth worked part-time as a horseback-riding instructor at Top of the Line, in Montvale, NJ. Her hobbies include riding horses, hiking with her dog, Stella Blue, and photography. She has a dog, a cat (Tabitha) and a horse (Just Joe). She is a board member of both Halfway Hounds and OctoberWoman Foundation. |

Karolyn Monte CVT |
|
Karolyn has worked at PRAH since 1986. She worked for Dr. Mikus for several years and has been working Dr. Manderino since she started practicing at Park Ridge. In 1996, Karolyn took and passed the National Veterinary Technician Examination. She has a special interest in animal dentistry and performs many of the dental procedures at PRAH. In addition to her certification, Karolyn has attended continuing education seminars on x-ray technology, dental surgery and prophylaxis, anesthesiology and pain management, and animal behavior. Karolyn's hobbies include painting, and touring vineyards. She is an avid cat lover and shares her home with 3 orphaned bottle fed babies that she has hand raised: Jezebel, Paulie and Chino. |

Jackie Roth |
|
Jackie has been working at Park Ridge Animal Hospital since 1991. Jackie previously worked at Butler, a veterinary supply company where she was a customer service representative and was also in charge of purchasing. Previous to that she worked for several years at Oradell Animal Hospital as a lab technician and a veterinary technician. Jackie has attended continuing education seminars on x-ray technology and dental surgery and prophylaxis. When she's not working at Park Ridge Animal Hospital, Jackie takes care of the Kern-Beute children. She lives in Fair Lawn with her cats Buttons and Spuds and her dog Cherry. In her free time she enjoys reading, swimming and sailing. |

Nancy Stillman |
|
Nancy has been working at Park Ridge Animal Hospital since May 2000. She attended college at Lake Erie College for equine studies where she double majored in biology and equine studies. She also attended Morven Park International Equestrian Institute. Nancy lives in Waldwick and has Semper, Lizzi, Sally, Holly and Ziva. She also has 2 conures and a horse. Nancy has been breeding and showing Labradors for many years in her free time. |

Sharon Racioppi CVT |
|
Sharon started at Park Ridge Animal Hospital in January 2003. She attended school at Bergen Community College and received an Associates in Veterinary Technology. In the summer of 2003, Sharon passed the Veterinary Technician National Exam. She is married and has a son. She also shares her home with Orry, a Papillon; Kip, a Chihuahua; Madeline, a Tiny 3.2 lb Poodle; Constance a 4 lb Pomeranian; Rico, a goofy Rottweiler and Midnight a Netherland Dwarf buck. Additionally, she fostered a litter of kittens and a brother and sister got returned to her and was unable to rehome them and they became her pets too (Tony and Liebling). She operates Dog Haus Pet Sitting. Her interests include: country music, gardening, restoring her Pontiac Firebird, sewing, walks at Campgaw Reservation, holistic veterinary medicine, rabbit care, digital photography, volunteering for her community and spoiling her "foo foo" dogs. In her spare time, Sharon and her dogs volunteer their time at a nursing home for pet therapy. Sharon and her "extended" family have fostered dogs for Halfway Hounds. |

Lauren Thau
For the past 3 years, Lauren has been volunteering and working part time at PRAH. She currently is a junior in high school and dreams of being a vet. Lauren is involved in animal rescues and finds home for dogs in shelters. She has 3 dogs of her own; Simon; a pitbull and Jessie; a mutt. In her free time, Lauren enjoys competitive volleyball and hanging with her friends. |

Erin Kirby
Erin has been working in the veterinary field for over 15 years. She is originally from Rhode Island where she grew up riding and showing horses and participated in an internship program at Roger Williams Park Zoo. Erin worked in emergency medicine on Long Island and now lives in Rockland County. She was hired as a surgical nurse in November 2010. When she’s not at PRAH, she’s probably at either a soccer, baseball or basketball game for one of her two sons. |

Marissa Kirk
Marissa joined the staff at PRAH in 2011. She lives in Bergen County and shares her home with both dogs and cats. |

Gina Guerriero
Gina joined the staff at PRAH in 2011. She has previously worked at a veterinary orthopedic practice in Maryland after graduating from Loyola College. She is presently continuing her education in veterinary medicine. Gina shares her home in Mahwah with a chocolate lab, Bruno, and two domestic short hairs, Bennett and Wade. |
