Due to the major housing and retail project that is being built on Kinderkamack Road, the Park Ridge Animal Hospital (PRAH), currently located at 94 Berthoud Street, will be moving to a temporary location while our new office building on Park Avenue is being completed. Our new space in the three-story building that will also include apartments and other retail spaces is currently under construction at the original site of the animal hospital, 40 Park Avenue, and is expected to be completed by the end of the year. Our temporary office is located at the intersection of Grand Avenue and Spring Valley Road, opposite Pascack Hills High School in the Oritani Bank Building (see the map below).
Our new address will be 236 West Grand Avenue, Park Ridge, NJ 07676. Our telephone and fax number will remain the same, as will our hours of operation. “While at our temporary office we will continue to offer the same high quality services you have come to expect from PRAH,” said Dr. Donna Manderino, “and you will be served by the same friendly and highly qualified staff. We apologize for any inconvenience this temporary move will cause, and we all look forward to moving in to our new building,” she concluded. Our temporary location will include digital x-ray, dental x-ray and a surgery suite, just like our current location. There is also plenty of parking at our temporary location!
A HISTORICAL NOTE: The original Park Ridge Animal Hospital was founded by Dr. Edward Mikus in 1966 and served clients throughout the Pascack Valley out of a small brick building on Park Avenue, where the new hospital is currently being built. In 1991 Dr. Manderino took over and updated the practice where she continued to practice for 22 years. We will continue to provide the most progressive and compassionate veterinary care in the region.
